Heather was born into a family of musicians in the Pacific Northwest. Gifted with the love of musical arts, she began singing and playing in bluegrass jams, country & folk tunes, gospel sing-a-longs, radio theater and talent shows. She started writing at an early age and began singing professionally in her early teens. Heather has graced the stage of many Performing Arts Centers, Theaters, Colleges, Festivals, Galleries, Pubs, and House Concerts. As a Lilith Fair Finalist, and national award-winning FROGTOWN performer, Heather has performed nation wide with many top artists such as Tracy Grammer, Linda Hornbuckle, Fred Eaglesmith, Harry Manx and Brian Webb. With three albums of her own, and recent collaborations with award-winning producer Philip Pelletier, Heather Christie continues to create and explore many styles of music that speak to the heart and soul of the human experience.
